I was inspired by GQ Magazine past fashion spread featuring NBA all starts dunking in suits. It’s been awhile since I shot sports, so I’d thought I’d give it a try and revisit some of the ole’ tricks we used to use on newspaper. This lead me to a little shopping haul to pick up some new grip gear.
For these shots I photographed actor Khalif Boyd doing many, many dunk shots. Khalif is one of the hardest working guys I know –constantly going to acting class, brewing your drip at the coffee shop, and building muscles on muscles in the gym.
