Wrap city b*tch, wrap city b*tch! Okay I’ll stop it. Last week I checked out Diane von Furstenberg: Journey of a Dress exhibit at LACMA. I’ve never so many amazing looking patterns and combinations of wrap dresses fitted on a perfect army of mannequins. On the particular day I visited the show I ran into the DVF herself.
The exhibition has a bunch of Fiats covered in raving pattern its front doors. Strolling around effortlessly the DVF jumped on top on the roof of one of the little cars. She was a nice lady in person. Before you reach the room of dresses there’s a long pink hallway full of timely photos.
If you’re in the Los Angeles definitely go check out the exhibition, it’s here till April 1st. And if you’re free this Saturday it’s actually free museum admission day. Stop and check out art at various spots in LA.
