Over the last year my wanderlust appetite has been tantalizing my thoughts and daydreams. One of my goals with photography is to merge travel adventures with portraiture. Last March California had a brief break from the ongoing drought, which caused all the wildflowers to bloom. Braving the potential for an onset of allergy attacks I ventured out to the hills to Antelope Valley with fashion blogger Bethany Struble. Photographing a few looks in a sea of orange and yellow seemed like an idea worth risking sneezing, running nose, and itchiness.
