The wait is over! Downtown Los Angeles has a new contemporary art museum: The Broad Museum. And in true Los Angeles nature it’s currently incredibly crowded. Over a weekend a few of my friends and I visited endured a three-hour wait for Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room. I can assure you though, it was 45-seconds of spectacular awe.

I love spending time in museums to sit back, reflect, and find inspiration and wonderment on the walls. Unfortunately that isn’t likely to happen as long as the museum is still giving out free tickets (tickets are all gone until January 2016!) I’ll mostly likely revisit The Broad when the hype passes and there’s more breathing room for the art pieces and I. Until then I found myself enjoying photographing fellow visitors photographing pieces on display.
If you’d like to visit museum soon, I highly recommend you jumping over to The Broad’s website and reserving tickets now and visiting on a weekday.
