Looks like this week’s From My Phone is filled with a bunch of quick behind the scenes snippets of some jobs I’ve been on. Check them out!
One of the most interesting jobs was I had was working as a Camera Assistant and Camera Utility on a short film. The location hands down is bomb! …and they also filmed bits and pieces of Iron Man 1, 2, and 3 here.
My fellow photographer Mathieu Young invited me out to his 20×20:: Live event. I feel reinspired to write and shoot my own stories again. Thanks Mathieu!
After hearing a handful of amazing photographers speak it was back to work! I caught up with Destorm who needed me to photograph his new merchandise.
Whenever I can, I’m finding myself shooting tethered to a computer. It’s a convenient tool to use to communicate direction and vision with the client.
Yay late night editing! Personally I love editing with some sort of noise in the background. Usually it’s electro music or a documentary.
Later I visited my film pals’ casting call. Then picked up a new fashion grey 9ft backdrop for a commercial job.
I visited the Pepsi-Cola building to pick up a lot of cans of beverages.
The cans were so heavy that our cars got lowered!
After moving a bunch of cans, it’s onwards to shooting headshots!
And then shooting more t-shirts! I had particular fun time with Omega‘s lookbook video and photo shoot. I really loved the attitude and togetherness of the crew. The art direction was also pretty humorous and quirky –just the way I like it.
And finally I met Christopher Dennis aka the Superman of Hollywood Blvd.
